Happy New Year!
The last update this year is written in English, to celebrate the fantastic country of USA. To make this moment a little more special, the half American, Malin get the honour to do this update.
The day started with a fantastic breakfast! We had Yoghurt, bread, vegetables, tea, coffee, juice etc. This is and will probably be the best breakfast I have had, during my two years in the states!
The day started with a car ride, driving around looking for Jet skies. Fredrik and Hasse tried it out. As two incredible charming tourists, who they are, they got it cheaper. Half price for one of them!
While they were driving around - playing for an hour, Erika, Emilia and I enjoyed the sunny weather, by taking pictures and watching people snorkelling and kayaking.
The other half of the group was spending time at the pool.
New Years in U.S is really something else!
Lights everywhere! Shopping here and there for all the stuff that don’t even need!
People are standing in New York City, on Times Square, in the cold weather for hours! Just to see the “ball drop” at midnight, which last for not more then a few seconds.
As you all know, the time different between Sweden and America is six hours.
You don’t really think about it that much on a normal day. But when it comes to a day like this, that’s then you realise how big of a different it is. All you guys have midnight in just a few hours, and we have to wait about eight hours more. And then when the ball in New York drops, then it’s six in the morning for you all and grandma and grandpa are almost up to make the morning coffee.
Anyway, this is the last day for me here in Florida, with all these wonderful and amusing people! As loving and caring as they are, I couldn’t ask for anything more! My New Years is complete and will probably be one of the best ones I’ve ever had!
Our night is continuing with dinner with each others companies.

Enjoy the winter and the snow and this year that we have in front of us.
And the most important thing;
Take care of each other and show everybody your love for them.

Well as you write in english I will of course continue the tribute of this beautiful language. I hope that you had a nice ending of 2009 and a marvelous beginning for 2010. Lots of hugs and kisses from the cold Boden and to be more precise of my location, the small gathering of people called "Flarken" :) Sorry for any miss spellings...it is rather late and I have a bit hrmf of a "bad" head today hurt. :P Love Helena
